White on White Cupcakes

You will need:

  • 600g pkt Betty Crocker® Super Moist Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 x 50g white chocolate bar

Follow these basic steps

  1. Pre-heat oven for 10 minutes at 200°C/ 400°F (180°C fan-forced oven). Line a 12 cup regular (1/3 cup) muffin pan with white paper muffin cases.
  2. Beat cake mix, water, oil and eggs in a large bowl with electric hand mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, then on medium speed for 2 minutes. Spoon into cases. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched in centre or skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  3. To make chocolate curls, pull a swivel-bladed vegetable peeler down the edge of white chocolate bar, using long, thin strokes. Frost cupcakes with sachet of Ready-to-Spread Vanilla Frosting. Sprinkle each with about 2 teaspoons white chocolate curls, using toothpick to lift curls.
