Milk Chocolate Cookie Tea Cups

You will need:

  • 485g pkt Betty Crocker® Milk Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • 80g (1/3 cup) softened butter
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • pink food colouring
  • ½ cup Betty Crocker® Ready-to-Spread Vanilla Frosting
  • 30 pink marshmallows
  • 30 chocolate freckles
  • 15 musk life savers, cut in half with scissors

Follow these basic steps

  1. Pre-heat oven for 10 minutes at 180°C/ 350°F (160°C fan-forced oven).
  2. Stir Cookie Mix, butter and egg in a bowl until a soft dough forms (use your hands to fully mix the dough). Roll mixture into 30 balls (approximately 20g each). Place on non stick baking trays, spacing about 4cm apart. Flatten slightly.
  3. Bake one tray at a time for 8-10 minutes or until pale golden and just set. Remove from the oven and cool on trays for 2 minutes, transfer to wire rack and cool completely.
  4. Using a toothpick, add drops of food colouring to frosting while stirring, until a pale pink colour is achieved. Using a butter knife spread the base of a marshmallow, freckle and cut ends of life saver with frosting. Secure frosted base of marshmallow onto cookie, top marshmallow with freckle and stick life saver onto side of marshmallow to resemble a tea cup handle. Repeat with remaining cookies.
