Cinnamon Tea Cake

You will need:

  • 500g packet Betty Crocker® Cinnamon Crumble Muffins
  • ½ cup (125ml) water
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 (59g) eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 apple, peeled & thinly sliced

Follow these basic steps

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 160°C fan forced. Grease & line a 19cm x 9cm loaf pan.
  2. Stir muffin mix, water, oil, eggs & sour cream in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour ½ batter into prepared pan & top with ½ sliced apple & ½ cinnamon crumble. Repeat with remaining batter, apple & cinnamon crumble.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
  5. Cool in pan before transferring to a wire rack.
