Chocolate Cupcakes

You will need:

  • 583g pkt Betty Crocker® Super Moist Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • nuts, lollies or hundreds and thousands, to decorate

Follow these basic steps

  1. Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 200°C/400°F (180°C fan-forced oven). Line a standard 12-cup (1/3 cup) muffin tray with cupcake cases.
  2. Beat Cake Mix, water, oil and eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer on LOW speed for 30 seconds, then on MEDIUM speed for 2 minutes. Spoon mixture into muffin cases. Bake for 25 minutes or until tops spring back when touched lightly in the centre.
  3. Spread frosting over cold cupcakes. Decorate with your favourite nuts, lollies or hundreds and thousands.
