Chocolate Cheesecake Brownie

You will need:

  • 485g pkt Betty Crocker® Reduced Fat Brownie Mix
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup water
  • 250g block cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 200g white chocolate, melted

Follow these basic steps

  1. Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 180°C/ 350°F (160°C fan-forced oven). Grease a 20x30cm lamington pan with oil or cooking spray. Line the base and sides with baking paper.
  2. Stir Brownie Mix, egg, and water in a medium bowl until just combined. Do not use an electric mixer. Spread evenly in pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Stir in chocolate. Spoon randomly over chocolate mixture and swirl with the tip of a knife.
  4. Bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes or until cooked through. Cool for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

  6. This recipe is also suitable to make using Betty Crocker® Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix. The addition of cream cheese, sugar and chocolate will increase the fat content of the brownie.
